In 2024, Kambic Industrial Partners announced the creation of the Amaaba Bio Refinery Complex, a next-generation bio-industrial platform designed to reshape the future of clean energy in Africa. Located in Ghana’s Eastern Region, Amaaba is positioned to become the world’s largest bamboo-based biorefinery and Africa’s first fully integrated Bamboo-to-Jet Fuel and Ethanol complex.

Built on advanced third-generation biorefining technology, Amaaba is engineered for high performance, maximum efficiency, and deep climate impact. The complex will supply global markets with low-carbon fuels and green chemicals—making it a vital asset in the global transition toward a net-zero future.
